New Features Released
21-Oct-2010	The major features of this update includes a budget feature together with performance graphs for each main area of Shoebooks.
	Major Features Budgets - ability to set budgets for each account type. I.e. Assets, Liabilities, Income, Expenses. Budgets are set by month and are configured in: Setup -> Budgets. A new Profit & Loss Budget report is also available which will display the budget v actual with a variance column Graphs - each search screen now has a recent transaction listing together with a graph displaying monthly totals. The recent transaction list also has shortcuts to create new transactions relevant to the module you are in. The graphs can be closed by pressing the cross at the end of the colour bar. They will reappear on next login. The graphs are updated every 2 hours. In a future update there will be a refresh option. Logo Upload - ability to load/change logos used for printed forms. Logo upload is located in: Setup -> Company Details -> Logos. It is best to use .GIF files but .JPG, .TIFF, .PNG are also supported. The optimun size for a logo is 450W x 120H. This is the first stage in a system setup wizard that will assist in configuring the various setup options in Shoebooks. Auto Ledger Cleanup on Logout – ability to select option to automatically run the ledger cleanup on system logout. The feature is set in Setup -> System Options. NB: You must click logout for the process to run. Other Improvements Receipts/Payments – ability to change sort order of Reference Number, Date and Due Date. Just click on the headings to change the order. Recurring Transactions – addition of notes field on initial recurring setup. New report for recurring transactions to locate transactions created. (Useful if not noted on system login.) Report is located under System on the report menu. Bills - Ship To - Ship To address now supported on Bills. (Already available on invoices.) The Bill template in Printing Formats needs to be changed to include the field. Contact support should you need assistance configuring this option.
